APA Illinois State Conference 2016

The Illinois Chapter of the American Planning Association strives to promote the planning profession by enhancing the skills and knowledge of its members. The organization provides a number of activities and benefits including the annual state conference, section meetings, planning awards, professional development assistance, a quarterly newsletter, website, and more.

If you live or work in the state of Illinois, your membership in the American Planning Association (APA) automatically registers you as a member of the Illinois Chapter. Furthermore, if you live in the six county Chicago area you belong to the Chicago Metro Section while all others belong to the Illinois State Section.
